1st April, Wednesday



As oxygen relights a glowing splint,
my heart re-lit when you spoke.
My thought’s wings were cut off,
and everything stood still in my head.
To my right you were about a metre and a half away.
As you spoke, you looked ahead.

You could not notice that you
made me tingle.
After searching a 5 item list,
I managed to at least say something.
But now as I write, I’m wishing I said two.
If only you knew…
