.2. A Cold Snap Poem by David Threadgold

.2. A Cold Snap

Rating: 5.0

Long icicles hanging
From sheds in the yard
The frost from last night
Froze the garden rock hard

Snow on the decking
It’s started to rain
And flat on my back
Am I once again

The last time I ended up on my back from my icy fall, I broke my ankle in two places! Ouch! Great poem!

shiver and shake get under the covers, a piercing glance of winter snow, but Shelly got it right ' if winter comes can spring be far behind' 10
