.2. Pilot Poem by David Threadgold

.2. Pilot

Could I have been a pilot?
Flying jets and fighting wars
To help out distant countries
From their tyrants with a cause

I’d follow wing commanders
With precision on each raid
Until the battles over
And their fears had been allayed
