.20 Mirror

RORRIM:
'THE MIRROR IS LYING'
Looking in the mirror,
I don't like what I see;
Who is this empty, hollow shell
That stands in front of me?
I hate the way she looks at me
With those tears in her eyes,
Like she's not who she wants to be,
And I can't stand it when she cries.

The face I see is crying;
This mirror must be lying.
All of her dreams are dying;
What's the point in even trying?
I don't know if I should,
But I would break it if I could;
Then there would be no memory
Of her dark shadow haunting me.

As I look through the glass, I see
The way my life was meant to be.
I see the life I could have had;
It's not so bad, so don't feel sad.
A smooth ripple in fluid motion
Starts as a thought - turns into an emotion.
A tear of blood falls from my eyes,
As something deep inside me dies.

In the broken mirror, I see
My dark reflection's been set free.
In my mind, I still hear the sound
Of shattered glass upon the ground.
I found myself lost in a strange place
And met my shadow face-to-face.
Someday, I'll find a way to pass
Through the looking-glass.

'LOOK INTO THE MIRROR'
I'll introduce you to
Somebody you don't know,
But you had better be honest;
You might not like what I will show.
Facing reality, you've tried,
But from the truth, you run and hide.
It's only to yourself you've lied;
Do you know who you really are inside?

The image the mirror is reflecting
Isn't exactly what you were expecting.
Take a deep breath. It's hard to do.
You don't want to know the real you.
In the end, truth is shown;
It's up to you what's known.
I hope you will never forget,
In the mirror, who you've met.

Cuz the worst enemy
Is the one you can't see.
You can be who you choose to be,
But it’s never easy.
Do you know who you are?
If not, you won't get far.
Tomorrow might never come;
Who will you become?

'WINDOW INTO MY SOUL'
On the other side of the mirror, you can see
Things aren't the way they're supposed to be.
If you don't find the key, you'll never be free,
Trapped here in this reversed reality.

For a moment, heaven was right in front of you;
Your dreams are dead - now your nightmares have come true.
Now you're trapped in a world where you don't want to be;
Knowing your dream will never become a reality.

I'm looking for pieces of my broken heart;
The only problem is, I don't know where to start.
I need the missing pieces of my mind;
I have looked everywhere, but they're so hard to find.

Only in the mirror can I see the world within;
I wish I could find peace, but I'm still struggling with sin.
The mirror is a window that lets me see in my soul;
Now that it's broken, I'll never be whole.

'THIS CAN'T BE ME'
With my last breath, I begin to pray
That my dark reflection will fade away someday.
I have a soul, but I can’t find it anywhere;
When I look in the mirror, I see nothing there.2

One night my reflection reached out to touch the glass; 2
Then she took hold of it, and through a wall, she passed.2
I looked out from the mirror and saw her dark eyes burn; 2
Coming back every night, she would always return.

What happened to the person who I used to be?
Why is this dark reflection all that's left of me?
I'm only a shadow of who I used to be;
Soon there will be nothing left of me.

I must be blind, for I can't see;
The mirror has hidden the truth from me.0
I made a mistake. It was an error.0
That isn't me in the mirror.

'ANOTHER SIDE OF ME'
I can't recognize my own reflection;
Someone please point me in the right direction.
So tell me now, can you see what I see?
Maybe my mind's just playing tricks on me!

I thought I knew what life was about;
I hate to hesitate, but now I'm full of doubt.
Others seem so sure of themselves all around;
I'm searching for a purpose I still haven't yet found.

I'll take you to a place you've never been before;
You think you've heard it all? There's so much more!
You may think you know me, but there is so much more;
There is a side to me you've never seen before.

What matters most is not what others see,
But how you see yourself and who you wanna be.
Just open the door and see what lies in store;
There's no time to waste! What are you waiting for?

'BROKEN MIRROR'
The pieces fall onto the floor;
I don't want to live this lie anymore.
And though they portray a thousand of me,0
I can't find one I want to be.
The mirror is broken - pieces fall all around;
Shattered shards of glass lying on the ground.
And as the broken pieces begin to fall,
I cry in horror, laughing at it all.

I'm trapped in this magic mirror;
Why can't I go through it?
I tried to get out so many times,
But I just can't do it.
Finally, I break free
Shattering this virtual reality,
In this world of uncertainty,
Each moment an eternity.

'MYSTIC MIRROR'
I hear a voice call out to me - turning around, I see
There is no reflection where it should be.
It feels like someone's watching me;
I don't know how I set her free.

Each time I turn my back, she's there,
Like something from my worst nightmare.
And at the wall, I stop and stare,
But I can't find her anywhere.

My hope is gone - my faith has fled;
A dark shadow stands there instead.
Her lips are black, but mine are red;
Unless I stop her, I'll end up dead.

Look into the mirror, if you dare;
You won't like what you find there.
The sight will give your soul a scare;
No nightmare could compare.

'TRAPPED IN THE MIRROR'
As I fade into the past,
How much longer will I last?
I'll find a way to set you free;
I have to save what's left of me!

I see you in the night;
My eyes are filled with fright.
I stare into your evil eyes,
Finding myself lost in your lies.

You appear just for a moment,
I stop and stare;
Then you vanish in an instant
As if you were never there.

Looking in the mirror,
Now I am sure.
You were looking back at me;
I know you were.

'MIRROR OF YOUR MIND'
When you look at your reflection,
The mirror may reveal a deception;
But if your heart is pure and true,
Then it will show the way to you.

The door to your soul can be seen;
Look into a mirror and you'll know what I mean.
You started living for a lie,
Thinking things would get better as life passed you by.

So shatter the mirror to rid your reflection
Of each little imperfection.
Deep down, you know you're still the same;
You only have yourself to blame.

Deep in your eyes - the mask you wear
Can't hide the fact - the truth is there.
You found the truth with just one look;
A mirror was all it took.

'WHERE IS MY REFLECTION? '
For just a moment, I saw her face;
Then she vanished without a trace.
My dark reflection's in my place,
A twisted smile on her face!

Every time I blink, she's blinking;
Is she thinking what I'm thinking?
She has no soul, and she can't feel;
She has a face, but she's not real.

I stop there and stare for a while,
Caught off-guard by her backward smile.
The girl I see just shakes her head;
What if she's the real me instead?

The mirror shatters on the floor;
Now the girl isn't there anymore.
Where's the girl I saw at first glance?
I'm left standing there, lost in a trance.

'WHAT DO YOU SEE? '
I see myself in the mirror;
My reflection's getting clearer.
I'm still not sure who I should be;
I feel there must be more to me.

When I was young, I didn't care what people thought,
The way they looked at me;
Those days are gone, but now I'm just
A reflection of who I used to be.

When you look into the mirror,
What do you see?
Do you see who you are,
Or who you want to be?

Looking deep down inside,
Face to face, you will see
Only you can decide
Who you will be.

'ON THE OTHER SIDE'
Let me in - open the door;
Leave all thoughts behind of the world you knew before.
When you look within, what do you see, my dear?
Objects in the mirror are more beautiful than they appear.

Tear down this wall that keeps us apart;
Take one step closer to breaking your heart.
Frightened of the future, haunted by the past,
It's time to face the truth at last.

You've looked into the mirror for so long,
Wondering on which side you belong.
Reach out and touch the glass, my dear;
The time has come to face your fear.

Stop and look at your reflection;
Now you're part of my collection.
There's no place left to hide;
I'll wait for you on the other side.

'SHOW ME'
Take a good look at me;
You won't like what you see!
The truth can set you free,
But do you want to be?

Skeletons you will find
In the back of your mind.
The sight will make you sick;
You'll think it's a cruel trick.

I'm tired of reality;
So please don't show the truth to me.
Am I a friend or some strange foe?
Just tell me what I want to know!

Broken mirror, set my soul free;
Just show me what I want to see!
Broken mirror, take away my fear;
Just tell me what I want to hear!

'MISSING PIECES'
My face
Is out of place,
But in each shard,
I catch myself off-guard.

This can't be me;
It seems so strange.
I don't like what I see,
But there's no way to change.

Picking up the pieces
Of my broken heart,
Please help me put it back together;
I need a brand-new start.

Into darkness I fall.
Unless I can find them all,
I'll lose myself forever;
Better late than never.

'THERE'S MORE TO ME'
Why does it feel
Like I'm not real?
There's more to me
Than you can see!

I can't look anymore;
I'm not who I was before.
I'm turning into what I fear,
And it has to stop here.

I've lost count of the tears I cried,
The times I tried - the dreams that died.
Somehow, I've become what I hate;
Is there a way to change my fate?

When I look in the mirror,
I don't like what I see.
I don't know who I am,
And it frightens me.

'GIRL BEHIND THE GLASS'
So this is it;
The fight is done.
I faced my fear,
And now I've won.

Now here I am,
Trapped within these walls;
When I get loose,
You'll be the one who falls.

I scream and shout;
But there is no way out.
Let the mirror shatter,
For now nothing matters.

I don't care if I die,
As long as she goes down with me.
I'm trapped inside myself,
But I want to break free.
