2014, what has thou for me?
To tell you the truth,
I waited for your arrival.
With great expectation
I closed my eyes and arms open wide.
Prophesy said you'll bring change.
They promised you'd be as no other.
Yes a change is what I anticipate.
One that would take me higher.
A change that would make way
not only for me.
I do want the same for all
those connected to me.
They promised a harvest will
manifest if I believe.
I believe 2014.
I'm expecting, you see,
I carried you for 9 months
and now the time has come.
The signs of change is here.
Manifest the fruits you bear.
It's evident because here you are.
I saw you bursting through time
as minutes was down to seconds
and then there you were 2014.
My loved ones gathered all around
as you showed up with Bang.
We were all smiles.
May you be as prophesied.
Change is always good, therefore...
I welcome you with every essence of my being.
Welcome 2014.
