#223 Here And There Poem by Jimmie Arrington

#223 Here And There

Where ever you walk you leave a trail,
A path showing where you’ve been.
Should you get lost, you’ve got a tail
That will lead you back again.

Where ever you travel, no matter the speed
And no matter the direction you go,
You must be the one to take the lead
Or else be the one to follow.

Where ever you go, by day or by night,
The road will get rough here and there.
Swerve to the left or veer to the right,
But always handle with care.

Where ever you sleep isn’t where you wake,
Unless you want it to be.
Close your eyes near a tiny lake
And open them to a view of the sea.

Where ever you stop is not the end,
But the beginning of something new.
Continue on your journey, friend,
Until you find the perfect you.
