#244 I Wouldn’t Change A Thing Poem by Jimmie Arrington

#244 I Wouldn’t Change A Thing

Lately I’ve been looking at life,
Thinking of how things came to be:
I’m married to a loving wife
Who has consumed all of me.
She owns my heart, my thoughts, my mind,
My time and my eternity.
She makes me better, more refined,
Than I ever thought I could be.
She makes life inspiring
And I wouldn’t change a thing.

I also wonder when and where
My life has gone, so fast.
One day I’m four without a care,
The next twenty years have past.
Unforeseen things have taken place,
Some good, some bad, some bizarre,
And though they pass, they leave a trace
Of things that were and are.
This life is crazy and amazing
But I wouldn’t change a thing.
