My love i want to be a special part of
your Halloween costume this year
to be there in the darkest time
when all the light seems to have faded

If you dress up as a witch
let me be your broomstick
to support you and carry you in times of need
and to be useful when you are safe

If you want to be a mummy
let me be your bandages
wrapping around you tightly
just like my arms desire to every day

If you want to be a vampire
let me be your cloak and fangs
to aid you in your feeding
and to hide you from prying eyes

If you want to be a demonic goddess
let me be your powerful wings
to raise you up from mere mortals
and keep you safe from harm

I want to be part of your costume
as long as it is part of you
to keep you warm while the moon is up
until the sun rises the next day
