.3. A Stolen Meal Poem by David Threadgold

.3. A Stolen Meal

Call of the wild
At the moon wolves are howling
Deep in a dark cave
A grizzly lay growling

The beasts of this forest
Try hard to survive
All looking for food
To keep them alive

Now blood in their nostrils
Leads them to a prey
From others a kill
They may now steal away
