.3. Christmas Joy Poem by David Threadgold

.3. Christmas Joy

Nose pressed against the windowpane
Wide eyed he viewed the toy
Wishing for this Christmas gift
To bring him so much joy

The frost around his ankles
That nibbled at his toes
Nothing seemed to bother him
To this spot he was froze

Two arms reached in the window
And took the toy away
His tears of sadness turned to joy
With his gift on Christmas day
