I am one of those
who is able to see the good
in almost everyone I know
but am unable to see any beauty
in my own reflection

I am one who is happy
to listen to and carry the burdens
of those who are my friends
but am not willing for them to carry
any of mine for me in case it is too much

I am one who is willing to spend
most of my money on those I care about
to make sure they are happy and safe
but am not happy to spend so much on myself
as I feel others need it more

I am unique and different to others
I can only be who I am
as I tell people every day
I'm just me
