4 Four

You did not want
To get out of the bed
Because it is
Sunday you said

I had to make tea
And bring it to bed
Together with the paper
So you can read

I was lying down
Watching your face
Making faces
At the crossword

'A four letter word
Starting with 'L'
And ending with 'E''

We spend the whole morning
Chasing after words
It was not love, neither life
Finally I was able to
Fill the last two letters
A four letter word
Starting with L
And ending with E

It was 'LONE'

poet Robert Frost

Some say the world will end in fire,
Some say in ice.
From what I've tasted of desire
I hold with those who favor fire.
But if it had to perish twice,
