40 - The Beauty Of Autumn

Rating: 5.0

Leaves of gold, brown and red
Dance in the forest
Like small woodland fairies
The forest floor draped
With a brown and golden cloth
As the cold wind blows
The baron trees Stand like gods
The brilliant orange sunlight
The fiery red foliage
Warmth radiates from the maturity
Of Mother Nature’s smile

Lovely poem. I always hate to say good-bye to autumn, but winter also has its moments. Warm regards, Sandra
