I’ll be there when you wake from your slumbers
By your side snuggled cosy in bed
I’ll be there as you get up for breakfast
To butter the toast or your bread

I’ll be there when you’re having a good day
To be happy with you when you’re glad
I’ll be there when you’re having a bad one
To help cheer you up when you are sad

I’ll be there when the tap needs a washer
Or to take the stuck lid off your jar
I’ll be there to read maps when you’re driving
Check the oil and the fuel in your car

I’ll be there if you’re under the weather
On the days when you’re feeling quite ill
I’ll be there just to help you recover
From the flu or a very bad chill

I’ll be there when you need a good cuddle
Say I love you to show that I care
I’ll be there for the help and supporting
So don’t be in doubt I’ll be there
