.5. Maybe Safe

Beneath the shifting sands of time
A desert secret keeps
Below in tomb of solid rock
The hidden pharaoh sleeps

Surrounded by his gold and jewels
That showed a wealthy life
His servants died to guard this man
Who lay’s beside his wife

He ruled a mighty kingdom
Made changes that were bold
His people built a pyramid
And lined his tomb with gold

One side a golden chariot
And more a golden boat
The best of first class travel
To the afterlife he’d float

But did he sail away in time?
To a land where pharaohs go
Before they robbed his hidden tomb
I guess we’ll never know
