.5. My Dead Mouse Poem by David Threadgold

.5. My Dead Mouse

I don’t mean to complain
But it has to be said
The mouse on my laptop
Appears to be dead

I bought it last year
Six months it was live
When all of a sudden
Its health took a dive

I went to the store
Where they’d taken my money
They didn’t help
One lad thought it was funny

I had to make contact
For makers to mend it
Arrange box and transport
And finally send it

I got it repaired
It has to be said
But now six months later
It’s once again dead
