7 Brown Eggs Poem by Edward Kofi Louis

7 Brown Eggs

Rating: 3.5

7 brown eggs!
Food to all flesh;
And, to part the red sea into two,
As the sun came around.

Winnow all evil things from your eyes!
For, poverty is the destruction of the poor;
But many are they who have rejected the truth,
And peace in the name of weapons of war leads to destruction.

7 brown eggs!
Your love to me shows that you care;
However, my work is my reward and my joy! !
Living in the land of peace to share with all.

Apples of gold!
Clouds and wind without rain;
But, the muse of love is now overflowing with words of peace,
As you are very young and, i am old in years.
