Both glad,
Jumped to marry,
Elders angry,
Didn’t bother,
Enjoyed rather,
Became father,
Glad mother,
Life’s hurdles,
Together struggled,
Neat we looked,
Example we became,
Something’s lacking,
Missed the smacking,
I slipped,
All hurt,
Forgiven, recovered
Not as before,
Change remains,
Life goes on.
