A Baby Just Like You
I can't wait to have a child
I've dreamt forever to hold you
my time clock is ticking
and doubts I have a few
I want to hold you in my arms
and sing you lullabyes
I want to change every diaper
and wipe away your cries
I want to count all your fingers
and every one of your toes
I want to kiss every inch of you
and maybe call you Rose
When I hold you in my arms
I want to feel your heart beat
I want to bounce you on my knee
and buckle you in a car seat
I want you to see the world
when I take you for a ride
I want you to be so happy
I want to see you as a bride
I know I ask alot of God
cause I'm going on fortytwo
but I think I still got some time
to make a baby just like you
