What do you think this poem is about?

a bad day

Waking up on a bad day
What can go wrong today?
Is a better day near?
Is this going to be a better year?

Then you gave me a call
The next day my hands against the wall
You wanted to tell me good-bye
You say I hate you
I only care about a select few
What has happened to me you say
What changed me to be this way?

I remember our past
A time that didn’t last
Recall every little thing
What misery I bring
In me there is a dieing art
And a void in my heart

I now see we were meant to end this way
When I woke up on a bad day

    a powerful poem of
    loss
    and the feeling
    which then takes
    hold of the heart
    a fine poem
