A Better Muslim Poem by Sidra Mohammad

A Better Muslim

Rating: 5.0

Adam was a prophet and he was the first to walk the earth
Eve was his companion and through them we were given birth
They ate an apple and were deceived by the devil
But Allah forgave them which the devil couldn't handle

So moral of the story don't believe what others say
Rather think logically and be wise with your chosen way
For my sisters out there please don't fall for the love trap
Its love at first but they all get over it like that
And my brothers, being on the streets isn't going to help you
its gonna mess your future and you'll regret what you use to do

So lets try to get our hands to the sky and pray as much as we can
lets try our best to become a pious lady and an inspiring man
Coz this is what we can take with us to the akhirah
The day no one can help us not even our mother or our father

Keep in mind what the prophet taught to the sahabas
Share the Kalima coz like for yourself what you like for you brothers
Walk with pride coz we can say we're from the Ummah of the beloved prophet
But try to act like him too so the west can stop with their gossip
Coz not only are we representing our prophet but we represent Islam
Show them what the religion truly is about, peaceful and keeping calm

Give to charity and pray for the ones that are less fortunate then we are
Coz maybe one day we might become them and from money we'll be far
My point is please turn to Allah for everything as he wants it to be
Don't turn to others coz Allah knows you more, I mean he even knows me more than me!

He hears all and sees the full picture and half is what we only see
Death could be round the corner so start taking your life seriously
If your ready to burn in hell remember that its going to be for eternity
Life isn't on earth its after, something that no soul has felt emotionally nor physically

So I pray that I see all my Muslim brothers and sisters in Jannah
Where we'll be neighbors of the prophets and walk with the sahabas (Inshallah)
