A Blank Message Poem by Noorie Ali

A Blank Message

Rating: 5.0

A blank message usually means allot of stuff...
A blank message, it’s not just a blank text it is 101 or more things

It’s asking the receiver...
What does one know about me?

“IT” could mean…
Would you really care if one day I were not there?
Would you shed a tear for me, on the day of my funeral?

A blank text…

Do you mean to say you are sorry?
Do you owe me an apology?
Are you feeling guilty?

A white text…

That pure sheet on ones monitor, phone or screen could mean
One two many “WORDS”

Are you thinking of me too
Do you want the truth?
I LOVE YOU!
ARE YOU IN LOVE WITH ME TOO?

Or does a clear text mean nothing at all?
May be it was sent by mistake
Who can tell only fate!

Sometimes a blank message could mean blanking a gun in the blinking of your eye for all connected reasons---Clever is that person who will leave all others blank w/o his trace--well written and feelings are well displayed.Salaam.

Hi Norrie - Welcome to the lovely PH Family. We pick the phone up - nobody answers - we open a letter - nothing - just a balnk page - we open an email - blank - it tells us nothing - it tells us everything. We already love you - in the poetic sense - so yes we would care if you died we would cry at your funeral. Verse Five - SORRY is the hardest word - APOLOGY is the most difficult action - GUILT is awesome. If I bother to phone you - warite to you - text you - of course I LOVE YOU - I just don't know the right words to say or write - but 'I say most when I say nothing at all! ! ! ! ! ! ! ! ! ! ! '. Verase 8 & 9 I know you love me - and I am in love with you which is why I sent the letter. It was not sent by mistake its just that I did not know how to phrase my love - Please forgive me - it is fate - can we start again? Thanks for sharing I hope you like my analysis. I score a ten for structure and content. Love in Poetry - JOHN..
