Treasure Island

David Harris

(18 June 1945 / Bradfield, England)

A Brand New……

I stand on the threshold
of a brand new day.
A new beginning
in every way.
My life turns another chapter
and one can only hope
it will be happier
than the one before.
No matter how it works out
with its trials and tribulations.
Today is a brand new day.
A brand new start to my life.

A lovely poem indeed David, each day a brand new day and hopefully better than the day before, always something fresh to look forward to, lovely David.

A buoyant piece filled with light and optimism. Reminds me of the new year at school and of all those unsullied exercise books and fresh ink! Ah the pathway to hell is paved with good intentions, eh? Great poem. love, Allie ♥ ♥ ♥ ♥ (Report) Reply

David, our life's travel here on earth are just temporary. So everyday should be always a brand new day.We have our God of New Beginning to keep up with our life's ups and downs, and that is a promise! we only have to yield and ask Him.. (Report) Reply

I AM not One who much or oft delight
To season my fireside with personal talk.--
