I'd like to tell you
whats in my heart
I have loved you so long
I knew it from the start
Tonight I will dream of you
And wish you were here with me
I'll wait for you forever
Whatever that might be
You can have my broken heart
and shattered dreams
This all that I have left
Or thats the way that it seems
If wishes could be given to a broken heart
And I was given two
I'd wish that you loved me
The other i would give to you
You will always have my heart
I hope that you know it too
I will never love anyone
the way that i love you

I gave this poem a solid 8 and I recommend it. This is one of the most interesting poems I have ever read. It is most sincere and is written from the heart of the writer. From that standpoint, I really consider this a 10. The poem is clear and very romantic. It also contains a musical quality which is critical to poetry. There are always a few technical things in rhythm and rhyme that I find in most cases and this is no exception. But I want to on clear on this. They don't hurt this poem. It reads like a 9 and sounds like a 10. GW62
