Did you miss the bus to the star.
That could have taken you very, very far?
Do you still live like an oyster with a precious pearl
Deep in the sea, unseen and unfurled ?
The talent that live in us both latent and nascent
Needs to be nurtured to make it potent,
So why wait, why await for the bus to the star?
Give your talent a chance and it shall take you afar.
Thanks Rajnish ji and Luis for reviewing the poem and for your valuable words. I wrote this poem keeping in view the fact many a times we fail to recognize their inherent talents in in our children and thus prod them into activities which do not interest them.
One doesn't has to wait for an auspicious occasion to nurture his abilities or strive for success. It is now and here. I quote the following lines from the poem: The talent that live in us both latent and nascent Needs to be nurtured to make it potent,

I would like to translate this poem
