A Butterfly in Love with a Flower
(Translated from Su Dong Po’s Poem)

While flower petals are drifting away

Fruit of the flower is growing

While swallows are flying away

The stream around the house is still flowing

While catkins on the willows are now rare

Green grass is still everywhere



While a girl is swinging inside

A man walks by

He listens to her laughter

Against the high wall

When her laughter fades away

He utters a sigh

A crush is a crush and sometimes you can only sigh
