Give me a minute
Let me give it some thought

Don’t wanna’ jump into
Maybe something’ I should not

Let me wrinkle my brow
Let me ponder a bit

Let me mull it over
Let me see if it fits

Let me scratch my head
Stare into space

Let me put all the pieces
Into their proper place

Don’t want to be impulsive
Don’t want to be rash

Don’t want to seem timid
Yet don’t want to be brash

Don’t want to just jump in
I want to think this thing out

But first let me ask you… once again
Just what was it you wanted
