Tears, what a painful verse...I could almost hear the cracks of a little heart... Such horrible things as the abuse of children sadly still happens everyday, what can we do to stop them? What is wrong with us? How can a child be abused and nobody reads those signs? Family, community, teachers, somebody must have seen that something is not right with the child. No, it is not the victim's fault, but of the abusers and also the adults close enough to give the child a hug, look into the child's eyes and ask are you all right? We could be fooled by a nod and a mumble but if we really look through the heart's eyes we can see that something is wrong and we should dig around to seek what hurts, what is the pain of dear child?
Thank you for having the power to open your heart, I hope this poem would give you strenght and answers to also those who wonders the same questions over and over. Keep writing dear poet your pen is full of strongest ink,
the pain of heart with cracks. May the child find again the flow of love and smiles. (Report) Reply

Great poem and I can really feel the pain and the emotions. Touching. Now if you can edit the poem it would be an excellent poem to read with a tremendous touch to the reader's heart because some people cannot get past the spelling to comment on the pain and truth of the your heart. yes it is possible for you to love and for someone to love you
let not the darkness of past trials mar your hope
your belief, your need for happiness
which is your right, your claim in life
we all get tired of life
but even if you have the switch
and you do turn off, will the pain dissipate
    will it all be better
sometimes in darkness you just need
a really bright torch of fire (Report) Reply

There is a child in all of us, some more wounded that others. It takes courage to put into words the pain within. A very moving poem that could reach the hardest of hearts, and bring healing to the wounded. (Report) Reply

I AGREE WITH EVERYONE WHO COMMENTED
BUT YOU SEE, SINCE YOU HAVE DIVULGED ALREADY THE BURDEN THAT IS BURNING IN YOUR HEART
YOU WILL ALREADY FEEL THAT IT IS OKAY TO TALK ABOUT THAT BAD FEELING UNTIL IT IS ALREADY GONE
SLOWLY YOU WILL MOVE OUT OF THE PAIN

I AM SO HAPPY THAT YOU FINALLY SHARED WHAT IS BOTHERING YOU THEN-YOU WILL MOVE ON...CONGRATULATIONS (Report) Reply

Tough subject to read, must have been very tough to write. When something happens to us, we're always that age when we think of it. I know that. Very well written, in my opinion. (Report) Reply
