A Child's Pain Poem by Azure Dee Brewer

A Child's Pain

Rating: 5.0

I look into your eye's they tell no lies
You look so distraut who would of thought
You faught and faught for me to listen
Day by Day you hold this pain inside
Why didn't I pay attention
My Mother the love of my life
She taught me to raise my kids right
I'm sorry for what you seen I just hope you beleive in me
'A Child's Pain' who could beleive you were so angry with me
I need to step up to the plate so I don't teach you to hate
I know I made promises to you that never went through
'Damm' my Dad did that too now I no the pain inside you eyes
Because they tell no lies 'I cry, I cry' please don't be confused
'I Do Love You'
'A Child's Pain' who could beleive
Trust in 'God' and you will acheive
Take from my 'struggle' how hard it was to be a Mother
Acheive, Acheive 'Trust and Beleive'
