A Childs Perspective Poem by Tracey TEE

A Childs Perspective

Why do you want to wake me
when I am fast asleep?
and when I'm wide awake
you tell me Son it's late...
Why do you not want to play
when I am on my own?
your always busy,
or so you say
as you look at me and frown!
when I am busy....
You want to play......
I really dont understand...
When I want to walk on my own,
you say NO, come hold my Hand
You tell me to dress
then look horified
and say NO go and change
or better still I'll find you clothes
so you dont look so strange...
Eat your dinner quickly now......
when I rush you say slow down
I really do not understand grown ups at all! ! ! ! ! ! ! ! !

Inspired by a book I read to my Son when he was
much younger...
Called ' MA you're driving me Crazy'

A fun read that you know is so true. Children have a way of getting the best of you. 10
