A Christmas Season Poem by Billy Loving

A Christmas Season

Christmas time of year
A time for cheer
Illuminating the night
A Christmas delight
Lights here and there
Mosaic of colors everywhere
Christmas carols fill the air
Going about without a care
Warmth from the fireplace
Winter's chill it does erase
Flames pleasing glow
Time going by so slow
Ground covered in white
Blinded by the sunlight
Stores flooded with people
Bells ringing from the steeple
Presents surround the tree
Children, happy as can be
A celebration every year
Of the messiah we hold so dear
