A Confession Poem by persian khushi

A Confession

Her heart an open book
Easy to read
Emotions bald for all to observe
A confession to the one
Who denied her soul
As she read his text
Weigh heavy on chest
Squeezing the life from her faint heart
He could not read between the lines
How sincere her words
Until it was too late
Reading the diaries of a broken heart

Sometimes confession could also be a lie or a lie told for mutual benefits. This poem though is an eye opener for readers.
