A Contrast Poem by Sayeed Abubakar

A Contrast

Rating: 5.0

Look how the sun rises and sets,
Earth becomes heaven where man lives;
It is man who gets and forgets;
It is God who gives and forgives.

Roses bloom and nightingales sing,
Rivers run, their waves fall and rise;
It is God, gets joy by giving;
It is man, only takes and dies.

It is man who has made the law
And has destroyed everyone's peace.
If you look, you will find no flaw
In God's work and in His justice.

Yes, I agree with you. Only He cares about giving without taking. He takes care of everyone from everywhere....Have peace to you and your family and have a happy new year.....

God gave us a universe that could be heaven but for man and his greed which is a compulsion of unnecessary need for more, he destroys himself and anybody that is close to him in a spiral of destruction of his heart and soul. God is there for him always to enrich his life with the beauty of love and kindness! Superb write Sayeed and thanks for sharing!
