Beware of the creature
of the night
She stalks her prey
as a restless pace.
No one knows from
where she comes or
where she hides at day light
Oh but to hear her
lonesome call as
she searches for a mate.
The lonely call that so
desperately searches
for one that will love her
Then one day her call
is answered by a lonesome male
as she wanders through the dark city
Soon they have met
neither realizing that daylight
has broken neither aware
of the onlooking crow.
They are only aware of the love
they feel for each other as they
stand and stare into each others eyes
feeling the closeness of love
