A Crook Might Have Wronged You Poem by Ali Farah

A Crook Might Have Wronged You

A crook might have wronged you
Swindled you out of a price
But karma takes its course
He seldom rests peacefully
Flees from his shadow
Sleeps with one eye open
Suspicion eats him up
His patience runs out
Trust fades away
Until friends become foes
And fate catches him up
