A Daugter's Love



I stood there dumbstruck staring at the scene before me,
It resembled the aftermath of a war movie,
I thought to myself had the bad man; the villain won?
Maybe his reign of pure evil had just begun?
Mother’s touch calmed it all,
But then I heard her scream and saw her fall,
Nothing below or nothing above,
The only thing to save her was her daughter’s love…
