A Day, Alifetime Poem by ritty patnaik

A Day, Alifetime

Rating: 5.0

the ice plant,
slowly unfolds
with the first morning rays.
myraid shades of pink,
twinkle to greet the sun.
by noon they are, drunkenly,
smothered by bees,
evening, smilingly,
puts them to sleep.

Lovely, life is just a fleeting moment, but it is a time to live our dreams.

A poem covering the entirity of life. Well done. A mosquito has only nine days life. A butterfly has only a month. If we start reflecting from such angles, man would definitely become more pious and lovable to his fellow beings. We need poems like this to enable us to reflect on totality of life. Good work.
