A Day At Kimbell Park Poem by Marilyn Lott

I had such a wonderful time
At Kimbell Park the other day
It’s a beautiful place to visit
And where your kids can play

The statues are perfection
Life size some of them were
The kitty looked so real
You could almost hear it purr

It is just the best place
To bring your family
The playground has everything
It’s where kids love to be

There were a few white clouds
In the sky floating aimlessly
I always like to guess
What they might look like to me

You might even want to bring
A snack or pack a lunch
It’ll be a wonderful day
I have a real strong hunch

I hope you take a little time
To spend some time one day
At the beautiful Kimbell Park
Where the kids will want to stay!
