A Declaration Poem by Udaya R. Tennakoon

A Declaration

That crucial cruelty touched day
More than right or wrong
Sensible values decided
Then thousands logics stood to harmonize
An unacceptable ghost
Body was living so far
Having hurt self

The body announced
The world knew of separation
History was written
Without the days in millions of impenetrable sufferings
