A Depression Poem by Wendy Moravec

A Depression

Rating: 5.0

Depression makes you question life
Makes you wonder of who to have faith
It fills your chest with painful fear
It chokes your heart with mindless agony
You feel like the world is closing in
You feel like there’s no place left to hide
Your protective shell was shattered like glass
Torn from your arms with a sudden blast
Now it’s open for the whole world to see
How much life costs you, Morning to eve.
And if they could feel the pain you go through
They’d see why depression for you, is a tomb
