A Deterrent Poem by Joyce Hemsley

A Deterrent

Forty words:

Larceny is a theft ~ a crime,

And should not be allowed to happen.
.
If office workers were made more aware

That an 'auditor' maybe waiting there

Ready to spot suspicious action,

Then crooked dealing would be

Well out of fashion.
