A Dilemma Poem by josephine lee

At first i thought a lie would be best
since it only this once time & no more
Later i thought if only i say the truth that time
now i would not be freting
that i be found out

It was only a meeting
I did not know it would turn into more
Now that it had turn into more
than a meeting
I don't know what to do

Now the lie prevent us from
doing things we both wish
if only i told the truth that
first time we met then
now i would not have this dilemma
Should i tell the truth or not
