I never thought our
Friendship would end like this.
You wanted to say goodbye.
Told me I would be okay.
You once made me smile
You once made me giggle.
I guess now all you are going
To be is a memory fading away in my mind.
Maybe it is for the best.
But I’m not sure
If my heart will heal on its own.
I trusted you
I believed you
I gave you my heart
I gave my all to you
And to our friendship.
You walked away
Decided to leave.
But you know that
I will always miss you.
I will always be here for you.
You hurt me by leaving
You hurt me by not telling me why.
What about what I feel?
What about our friendship?
What about now?
How I should move on?
I’m left alone here
Without you to hug me.
You chose to leave, not me
It is your fault you wanted to leave.
It is your loss, not mine.
It’s hard trying to think that
When I never wanted to
Be without you in this life.
