A Dog Named Pat Poem by Philo Yan

A Dog Named Pat

Once there was a dog named Pat
who thinks he is a tabby cat
Instead of a bark, he'll only purr
He rubs his head and licks his fur
coughs up a ball and instead of meat
he likes to eat fish cakes on a stick!
And if you play a game of fetch
He'll yawn and do a kitty stretch
And if you throw Pat a juicy bone
He won't chow down or bury in the ground
Pat who thinks he's a cat
is a dog with a mind of his own......
