Who would have thought this would happen?
That all my walls would come tumbling down,
No one could have predicted,
That my smile would become a frown,
Never in my wildest imagination,
Would I have foreseen such a painful event,
To even conceive that we wouldn't be friends,
Has been weighing me down like cement,
Sometimes life is filled with emotions,
That knock you right off your horse,
I may stumble at first and stagger,
But I always find proper recourse,
I will miss you, I'll probably cry here and there,
but I guarantee that I will recover,
A few attempts before I stand tall,
After all I am like my mother.
