A Dragon Neath My Bed Poem by Jim Yerman

A Dragon Neath My Bed

Rating: 5.0

"Daddy! " she cried out one night. "There's a dragon neath my bed...
So I drew my trusty sword...and I slew that dragon...dead!

"Someday you'll slay your own dragons, " I smiled, "but since I don't know when..."
"With your permission, princess...I'll stand guard till then."
