She swept the pain away
as she cried her tears today
she sang a song of lonely
in the twinkle of a light
that shined through the moonlight

She whispered a love to me
through the shadows of the night
as she closed her eyes again
to a dream no more
and said that it's going to be alight

She found peace in her serenity
inside a broken Heaven
where darkness was forevermore
behind her locked door
