A Dream Realized | Early Poems Poem by Ana Maria Alma Delafuente

A Dream Realized | Early Poems

Rating: 5.0

Our love lives where clouds form.
When snow falls from sky to earth,
It melts and journeys down the mountain as water.
It joins the river and runs for many miles.

Then I dip my cup into the spring,
and I drink you from the sky.

This is when I see you.
This is when I walk into your arms my love.
This is when I touch you, taste you, and know you are real.

COMMENTS OF THE POEM

This poem is exceptional. it gives meaning to existence, and unlike a lot of poems I have read does deserve to be published. Thank you for commenting on my poems. Be assured that all my poems come from imagination. They are my television to the world, and I often put myself in the role of time traveller. I do this to get to the heart of the subject I wish to convey. My poem The silence of War takes me into the realm of the first world war as an example of this. I find your proverbs intriguing, My poems Tremble/old Bill, and No More have all been published in England.
