A Dream That Made Me Cry Poem by Hazel Nut

A Dream That Made Me Cry

Rating: 4.3

Like the homeless Hansel and Gretel
Discovering a house of confectionaries,
I had finally found my refuge -
In this world of puppetry;

A safe and secured haven,
In a genuine friend’s heart;
All that I had ever wanted.

Overwhelmed and grateful,
I asked my friend:
“Tell me, what can I do for you? ”

My friend replied:
“Just let me pull your strings,
And play with your heart”.

With God pulling the strings of our life, you need not feel lost. Nice poem.
