A Drive Poem by Kai Wendland

A Drive

Take you on drive
To feel alive
But stop as if unled
I get out and lay in the bed
And said nothing
But it ment everything
I know we have something
I'd give anything
For the moment to last forever
Letting go never
But we all must sever
Some ties
Preferable lies
But if lies
Buys me time
Is it truly a crime
If I tell them in the name of love
And her sacred dove
Flying over us
With only simple trust
But know knowing there was lust
